The night sky came alive with the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) over our Guest House on the Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Powerful display captured by time-lapse, a bright moon behind the camera position producing a wonderful illumination to the Guest House and front garden. This was incredible to witness on the 17-09-21 with the pinks streaming so high into the night sky! In the open waters of the Outer Hebrides the seas come alive. A short trip out from the harbour at Acarsaid Mhor on Eriskay and we were straight into exploring the ocean with Uist Sea Tours. It was a very overcast afternoon with calm seas but you don't always need perfect weather sometimes when you don't expect you get a lot! Everyone knows that wildlife and marine life can never be guaranteed on any trip but yesterday these wonderful common dolphins in the Outer Hebrides put on quite a show for us..... an absolute incredible experience to witness these beautiful creatures so close and so many in number - what a treat! I tried to make this video shorter but we had such a great encounter with the dolphins that I ended up with more footage than I could of wished for...
